BoxingvsKickboxing

Which should you train?

Same room, same coaches, two different problems. Boxing sharpens what your hands can do; kickboxing adds your legs and changes every distance. Here is the honest difference — and why most people here train both.

The Short Answer

Train Boxing if…

✓ You want the sharpest hands and head movement in combat sports
✓ You like footwork, timing and reading an opponent
✓ You want to get good at a small number of things
✓ You want conditioning you can feel in three weeks

Train Kickboxing if…

✓ You want kicks and knees as well as hands
✓ You want to work at more than one distance
✓ You want the widest striking base for MMA later
✓ You like variety in how a round can go

What We Teach Here

At Killer B HQ we teach boxing and kickboxing as two of the Four Arts, alongside wrestling and No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu. You learn each art properly and then learn how they connect.

We teach both of these under one roof, and you do not have to choose. Most members start in one and add the other once the basics feel automatic. Your hands get better either way — kickboxing just gives them more company.

Common Questions

Which should I start with?

Boxing, usually. Getting your hands, stance and head movement right first makes kickboxing far easier to add. If kicking is the reason you walked in, start there instead — the thing you enjoy is the thing you will keep doing.

Which is better for my child?

Either works. Boxing is simpler to coach well at a young age; kickboxing gives a restless kid more to work with. Both build coordination, timing and confidence with controlled contact.

Do I need to be fit to start?

No. You get in shape by training. We meet you where you are on day one.

Can I try before joining?

Yes. Book a trial, take a class, meet the coaches. No pressure, no ego.

Still Not Sure Which Fits?

Book a trial. We will watch you move and tell you honestly what suits your goals.
